Ugh, the greatest thing you ever accomplished
in elementary school was finding some rare
Pokemon card while getting babysat by a GenX'er
who bestowed you with this information, and if
they were actually cool they would have thought
that Marilyn Manson was a poser and been listening
to Skinny Puppy. And we had the internet! IRC,
crude email, BBS, and some people even had GUI
and the WWW. The search engines were named after
Archie characters and the Anarchists Cookbook was
heavily disseminated (and a lot of other cool shit
like the popular goth zine Take a Bite).. it was
an exciting and sacred time when nerds ruled and
there was no corporate interference. Way cooler
